About Women in Mining and Energy, NWT
Women in Mining & Energy, Northwest Territories (WIMNT) is a regional not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing gender equity in the resource sector. As a proud chapter of Women in Mining Canada, we share a vision of an inclusive industry—one that actively fosters, promotes, and empowers women.
We believe in a future where opportunities and career goals are accessible to everyone, regardless of gender.
Through a range of programs and services, we are working to increase the representation of women in the NWT’s mining and energy industries. We focus on education, empowerment, and elevation—supporting our members to thrive, lead, and shape the future of the NWT resource sector.
