A committed public servant and Northern leader, Dianna Beck brings over a decade of experience in socio-economic analysis, community engagement, and resource policy to her role as the Director of Mineral and Petroleum Resources for the GNWT’s Department of Industry Tourism and Investment. Dianna has built her career supporting sustainable development and fostering long-term benefits from mining for communities across the territory.
She is recognized for her analytical insight, strategic thinking, and deep commitment to positive change in the North.
Dianna holds a degree from Athabasca University and recently completed a certificate in Corporate Social Innovation from Royal Roads University, further strengthening her ability to lead with impact at the intersection of industry, policy, and community well-being.
Rooted in the Northwest Territories and passionate about its future, Dianna continues to advocate for thoughtful, inclusive development that respects both the land and the people who call it home.
